What Information Does Dartican Collect?

Dartican collects different user information based on the purpose of contact, level of interaction, and product used.  For example, much less data is needed when someone initiates a chat on the Dartican website than if a company is a client that we will work with regularly.  User information is collected in the best interest of the user.

Personal information

Dartican collects, processes and stores data relating to businesses and decision makers/contacts in our secure CRM and by extension, our interconnected Helpdesk.  We believe that the individuals that we process the data of have a legitimate interest in the Dartican product (CompAccelerator and/or KnowledgePay) based on having contact with Dartican through our website, e-mail, phone or helpdesk, or being referred to Dartican.  We retain the information of companies who are current and potential clients of Dartican in order to provide support and information regarding the product(s).  If information is collected through a third party, we ensure the third party has collected the data with consent compliant with the GDPR.

Dartican only collects, processes and stores essential information required for making contact with individuals within a business environment.  The personal data we collect is limited to first name, last name, email address, and social media profiles (If contacted through Social Media).  Other business related data may also be processed including business name, business address, business phone number, job function, business size, and details related to which products are used.  We will never collect further personal data such as those classed under ‘Sensitive Personal Data’.

Usage and analytics data

Dartican LLC’s website collects usage information in order to assess how users access and utilize the site. This data is valuable to the company for various internal purposes, including troubleshooting and improving the site’s functionality. The user is permitted to correct, update, or change their personal information, or adjust or cease the frequency with which they receive company communications, at any time.  In order to have Dartican update or delete user information, please contact us by e-mail at .  Please allow up to a month for Dartican to ensure all user data is deleted or corrected.

How Does Dartican Utilize User Information?

Customer service and follow-up

Giving quality customer service is one of the most important aspects of Dartican’s business.  The user information we gain is used in order to answer questions, arrange demos, understand client needs, address billing and payment issues, and communicate with clients as needed.  Dartican LLC might also collect user information for routine follow-ups in order to assess customer satisfaction.

General announcements

Dartican LLC may contact individuals to inform them of updates to the webpage or products, service interruptions, notifications, marketing communication, etc.  Communication in this manner will only be sent to those we believe have legitimate interests in the products or the webpage.

Third party service providers

Dartican uses third party controllers to track and analyze website use data, as well as to provide an optimal customer service experience.  User data may only be processed for limited and specified purposes consistent with the consent provided by the individual in the “Terms and Conditions” document.  Third parties will provide the same level of protection as Dartican, and will notify Dartican if the company makes a determination that it can no longer meet this obligation.  If such a determination is made, Dartican will no longer use that controller, and will find another that abids by our strict security expectations.

However, we ensure that products used for this purpose employ adequate security measures with respect to user data, and the companies associated with those products will not sell or use client data in other ways than intended.

Dartican LLC does not anticipate being purchased or engaging in a merger at this time.   In the event that Dartican LLC participates in a merger or other acquisition, it will be required to share user information with the purchaser or surviving entity.  In this event, contacts will be notified.

Dartican LLC takes our clients security very seriously.  Dartican uses the latest technology servers making use of industry best practices for encryption, intrusion protection, and virus scanning.

Although every effort has been made to keep user data secure, it is impossible to completely guarantee that user data will be immune from malicious attack or compromise; as such, the users should understand that their transmission of personal data is always at their own risk.  In the unlikely event of a data breach, notice will be given to affected users within 72 hours.

It is important that you, as a user of our website and/or products, protect the personal information that is submitted on the site — including passwords, usernames, location, images, and videos — so that third parties can’t manipulate accounts or assume identities.

Dartican collects and stores all user data in the USA.  All information will be subject to the laws of the United States of America, regardless of the country from which their data originates.

Changes to the Privacy Policy

Dartican LLC might make changes to its privacy policy from time-to-time.  Users should periodically revisit the policy for any updates. Dartican will notify users of any policy changes. Users who continue to interact with the site following a revision of the company’s privacy policy will automatically be subject to the new terms.
